Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga

Candidas das Prabhu kindly explained me the difference between bhakti and karma yoga.Karma Yoga is "doing things you like for Krishna" and Bhakti Yoga is "doing things you dont like for the pleasure of Krsna(of course as instructed by higher authorities)".Ex-One wants to go to Vrindavan to get the association of devotees, enjoy krsna's pastime places etc but at the same time if one goes to Siberia (though he might not like) but just for krsna's pleasure to spread krsna conciousness..this is bhakti yoga.If given a chance most people will like to go to Vrindavan and then enagage in krsna conciousnesss but few would like to go to siberia in difficult circumstances and preach krsna conciousness.

Also, point to be noted that Gopis are the most exalted example of Bhakti Yoga but still they were always sufferinng because of seperation from Krsna. So,the most exalted devotees of Krsna's always suffer(only in material sense) but they do it for Krsna'..even their suffering is coz of seperation from Krsna..

Further the five stages of yoga are-in Ascending order-1.Bhakti Yoga(in this also several stages like -friend,father,mother,lovers etc) 2.Karma Yoga in Krsna Conciousness(chapter-5 gita) 3.Dhayan Yoga 4.Gyan Yoga (Jgyana ) 5.Karma Yoga(chapter-3)

Special Thanks to Candidas das Prabhu for explaining this very subtle knowledge

All glories to Guru Maharaj Ganesh!

Last few days in MANCHESTER.........

So....the year has passed! One year..I arrived in manchester on 1oth September.Today is my last day in Opal Hall and from tommorow onwards I will stay with Candidas Prabhu, till I leave manchester.

I am updating the blog after such a longgg time!Anyways,Glad I am writing down finally!Just came from Deenbandhu's prabhu Friday Class..I think my second last class...Man I am gonna misss this..I have no apprehension in saying that manchester gave me soooo much..so much so that I would say its like a second birth for me!I came to Manchester to do masters...to get a tag of masters and then exploit this tag to extract more and more wealth...but Guru Maharaj Ganesha had some different plans...Its only by his mercy that I had this opportunity to meet wonderful devotees and to learn "the real masters degree"...of life!..Ofcourse,I know Ganesha Maharaj wanted me to do "dual" masters with full determination but unfortunately I really could not gain much out of "academic masters".Anyways Ganesha Maharaj and of course Lord Govinda knows where I am heading for and "if I can put some academic masters " to any use!

This is definately not to say that I have done masters in "Krishna Conciousness" but yes I made a sincere effort towards this! And I am really really sooo grateful to Ganesha Maharaj and Yashodanandana ..who bestowed this opportunity on me..I am also sure that this is result of some very good pious activities of my previous life!I will really miss ISKCON manchester ad wonderful devotees..........!I sincerely seek mercy of devotees, prabhupada and of course Lord Ganesha and all merciful Lord Krsna to allow this most degraded soul to be at their lotus feet and serve them eternally and if possible to become an insignificant instrument in spreading Chaitainya Mahaprabhu's Mission!

Coming to "Academic Masters" ...I would say it was a good experience..meeting with soo many people from different background.John,Ben,Ahmed,Anwar,Nikhil,Saroj,Dipika,Vishal,Tarun,Zahid,Muhammed,Manj,Asad,Karan,Haldeel, jessie, margarita, hanna, theo, anna, esha, kavita eetc etc...I can say that I have become more confident and understand management issues bit better.Overall, the course was really not hectic but easy pased...University is fantastic..MBS has good brand name...but definately..it was definately not worth 20000pounds worth! Its bit too expensive...considering the overall experience..

Further, with krsna 's and ganesha's maharaj blessings...I started doing business. It was like Krsna had planned everything for me...I met sumatiji and then...eventually one day started looking for business contacts in UK...and from there on..responses have been pretty good and I feel very confident!..

All in all Manchester will be always a sacred place for me...I should say I never knew life before Manchester.Even as I am writing,I am relishing the grave yet most passionate voice of Srila Prabhupada chanting Hare Krsna Mahamantra!I think that will perfectly summarise my Manchester Experience!

Hare Krsna Hare Krsna,Krsna Krsna Hare Hare
Hare Rama Hare Rama,Rama Rama Hare Hare!

All glories to Guru Maharaj Ganesha!Guru Maharaj Ganesha Ki Jai!

All glories to Lord Krsna who is the ultimate source of everything..!who is the reservoir of pleasure!...who is the master of everything and from whom knowledge emanates!
